Frequently asked questions.
Boarding, daycare, training, and reservations. The questions we get most, with straight answers.
Things owners ask us most.
What vaccinations are required?
For boarding and daycare we require rabies, distemper, and Bordetella, plus a negative fecal exam within the last six months.
Do you accept puppies?
Yes. Puppies receive specialized care: extra play, more potty breaks, and a supervised intake. Puppy classes are also available during the 8 to 16 week socialization window.
How far in advance do reservations need to be?
We always maintain an ideal level of staff for the expected number of guests each day, so reservations are required. Lead time depends on the season. Peak holidays book well in advance.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes, peak season only. Ask at booking.
Can my dog have their own food?
Yes. Bring their normal food, separated by serving in individual labeled portions.
Can I tour the facility?
Yes. Tours run by appointment.
Can you give medications?
Yes. Small fee per dose, or unlimited via the TLC Package add-on.
Can my dog get a bath before pickup?
Yes. We offer a soothing stress-free bath at pickup. Ask at booking.
How are dogs grouped in daycare?
Smaller groups, lower dogs-to-staff ratio than the larger facilities in the area. Every dog goes through an evaluation day before joining group play, so we can match temperament and energy.
How long is board and train?
Typically one to four weeks. We will give you a real estimate on the consultation.
How long are private lessons?
Approximately 60 minutes. Most clients see meaningful change inside four to six sessions.
Do you post pricing online?
No. We quote programs on the consultation. Call (410) 420-2273 or send a note via the contact page.
What is the cancellation policy?
Policies depend on the program and the season. We will share specifics at booking.
Where are you located?
2222 Kalmia Rd, Bel Air, MD 21015.
